Sandy Lyle Painting & Augusta National Round Auctioned For $115,000.

A speed painting of double Major winning Sandy Lyle was one of the big money-earners at a gala charity auction following the 2015 Abu Dhabi Invitational.

Lyle had been among 58 professionals competing in the Pro-Am event at the stunning Yas Links course in the UAE capital.

While there was many Ryder Cup theme items up for auction at the gala dinner held at the Viceroy Hotel overlooking the Yas Island Marina F1 circuit, the painting of Lyle, a former Masters and Open Champion, was tops in the bidding and with proceedings going to the Rashid Center for the Disabled.

And the painting attracted further interest when Lyle offered the successful bidder the opportunity to join him for a round of Augusta National on Sunday April 5th, and before the course is closes to just those competing in the 2015 Masters.

The prize was eventually auctioned for an impressive $115,000.
