Spectacular Sunset Over Crail Golfing Society.

It seems like most of Scotland had their mobile phones pointed towards the sky this evening.

Monday dawned with very strong winds while there was very heavy rain this morning, Tuesday October 7th, and while it was not so windy yet there was still a heavy swell slamming into the St. Andrews Bay and Forth River shoreline in the east of Scotland.

However around 6pm there unfolded one of the most stunning sunsets for some time.

Hereunder is a collection of photographs taken from the Balcomie Links course at the Crail Golfing Society, and golf’s seventh oldest club.

The light show is all but over as the row of international flags continue to flutter briskly in the strong breeze.
