• This victory beats previous best European Tour performance of tied second in the 2007 Volvo China Open.

• This victory beats his previous best 2014 performance of tied 16th in the WGC – Cadillac Championship.

• Becomes the 11th first-time winner of the 2014 season. • Victory beats his previous best performance in the Hong Kong Open of tied 62nd in 2011.

• Since the Hong Kong Open became part of The European Tour in 2002, follows Fredrik Jacobson (2003), José Manuel Lara (2007) and Lin Wen-tang (2009 – Nov 08), to make the Hong Kong Open their first European Tour victory.
