If you thought World No. 1 Rory McIlroy was resting-up ahead of next week’s Ryder Cup
showdown at Gleneagles then you’re wrong.
Instead, the four-time Major winner was out on the River Thames near the Tower Bridge in
London earlier today hosting a promotion for sponsor – Santander.
And as you can see from the Twitter pics McIlroy looked to be enjoying himself in the
British capital and with London’s Major Boris Johnson, dressed in suit and tie, hitting
a shot off the floating pontoon anchored on the Thames.
However this should be his last public engagement before heading home to Northern
Ireland for a few days and probably getting to Gleneagles on Sunday.
