Even A ‘Supercaddy’ Needs His Beauty Sleep.

Even a ‘supercaddy’ needs his beauty sleep.

John ‘Ronnie’ Roberts is caddying for fellow Englishman Steve Webster for a first time in many years.

And ‘Ronnie’ was naturally delighted to kick start a return to working for Webster when he posted an opening round of a three under par 68 on the Twenty-Ten course at Celtic Manor.

However after the usual enthusiastic preparation work ahead of the opening day of the ISPS Handa Wales Open, the Bournemouth-born bagman was a little tired and we managed to ‘catch’ him taking a well-earned shut eye following Thursday’s round.

And ‘Ronnie’ was snapped in the superb surrounds of the Tyn Capten – a farmhouse, self-contained B & B that we happily recommend to anyone visiting Celtic Manor or region.
