Just days after Rory McIlroy prompted cold water to be poured over former US President George W Bush and the world’s top golfer was sharing lunch with another US President in Bill Clinton.
Clinton is the 42nd President who recently turned 68 years of age.
Unlike Bush, who became the 43rd President, Clinton is loves his golf and judging by the body language we can only have at a guess what the four-time Major winning McIlroy is saying to Clinton.
One wonders now after they shared what looked like breakfast, if McIlroy will tee-up in next year’s Humana Challenge being held at La Quint in California from January 22nd to 25th, and an event Clinton is heavily involved.
If so, it would fit into McIlroy’s schedule as the Northern Irishman will be in the UAE the following week for the 26th staging of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic given that McIlroy is now sponsored by the Swiss watch-maker.
And McIlroy will be adding the 2015 Omega European Masters to his schedule next season given the co-sanctioned European and Asian Tour event is being staged in the week’s break between the four 2015 FedEx Cup Play-Off events.
