Lenotre – One Of The Wonderful Delights In Visiting France.

Gaston Lenotre (20 May 1920 – 8 January 2009) was a renowned French pastry chef and caterer.

And his wonderful legacy lives on with shops all over Paris and one we visited in Versailles.

The shop had on display a wonderful and truly mouth-watering selection of flan’s, meringe tartes, concerto’s, milefeuille’s and macarons.

And standout was this superb eclair tree sprinkled with macaron’s.

Anyway here is a selection of photographs taken on our visit during this week’s Alstrom Open de France.
