David Lynn Waiting To Be Re-‘United’ With His Missing Golf Clubs.

The airline nightmares continue.

This time it is that curse of the professional golfer and that’s arriving to a tournament without his or her tools of trade.

No sooner had we arrived here at the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and I bumped into England’s David Lynn working on the practice putting green at the Firestone Country Club course.

However the runner-up in the 2012 PGA Championship and reigning Portugal Masters winner was working with a borrowed putter.

“No clubs!” he exclaimed.

“I flew down yesterday from Chicago with United Airlines but the clubs didn’t make the flight.

“United has promised they would be here this morning but I’m still waiting.”
