On the drive east earlier this week from San Antonio  to Houston we deviated off the I-10 and onto Texas State Highway 90.

The drive was very Texas passing through one town after another on the 150-mile drive to America’s fourth largest city.

However what caught me eye was a handful of rusting American icon cars circa 1950s.

As you can see from the photographs below there was a Chevrolet and Ford F-100 and a few other cars just lying idle but then hoping one day someone may come along and restore these American ‘beauties’ back to their formal glory.
