Matt Kuchar Celebrates Easter Sunday Believing There Is A Golfing God With RBC Heritage Success.

Matt Kuchar celebrated Easter Sunday now believing in a ‘Golfing God’ after capturing the RBC Heritage Classic at Hilton Head.

The American pulled off the shot of the tournament in holing a 20-yard bunker shot for birdie at the 72nd hole in a sizzling final round 64 to relegate England’s Luke Donald into second place for a third occasion in the $US 5.8m event on the Habor Town Links Golf course.

It is Kuchar’s sixth PGA Tour win and comes finally after being in a share of the lead in his last three events but walking away empty handed.

“I’ve always believe in a golfing God,” he said smiling.

“I believe that if I keep plugging away, things are going to go my way.  You get some good breaks, you get some bad breaks.  But as long as you accept it, and look forward to whatever is next.  I think things tend to go your way.”
